Anniversary gift

Tuesday 14 December 2010 @ 11:51 pm

Time flies, it will be my 7th wedding anniversary with my dear hubby in three months time. I am thinking to buy him a gift, as hubby buys for me every year where I did not do it before. Am I a bad wife? There’re many anniversary gifts which I can get them online. They’re so unique and special. I can’t wait to get all of them for myself.

May be I should get my hubby a surprise gift. I found out that we can get wedding anniversary gifts by year, which means if you married with your partner for 10 years, then you should look for gifts for 10th. Like me, I suppose to look for gifts for 7th, one of them is toilet paper with words.

How do you think about this lovely toilet paper? I am sure hubby and I won’t use it but to keep it as it’s so lovely. Frankly, it’s so wasted if we really use it as toilet paper. :P

Mummies and kids

Saturday 19 June 2010 @ 11:33 pm

It was my best pal’s birthday two days ago. Her hubby was busy with work and left her celebrate with kids. Well, she was not alone as we had dinner in a classy and comfortable western restaurant to celebrate her birthday. We enjoyed a lot with the food and kept on order and order again till vomit. LOL!!!

I guess it will be wasted if you’re having the top fat burners but go to eat like us. We are not worry at all as we need to gain more weights. Anyway, we had a great night outing with our kids. I am sure my friend will get present from her hubby. I wonder what she gets this year.

My new born nephew

Friday 26 March 2010 @ 10:36 am

Congratulations to my sister for her new born baby boy early yesterday morning. Hubby and I brought Marcus to visit his cousin last night. I hardly take a full photo of him as he keeps sucking his fingers. Even after he wore a pair of mittens, he still enjoyed a lot sucking it. LOL!!!

I still thinking what I should buy for my sister. No, I won’t buy any truck accessories toy for baby now of course, but for these two little kids.

They can be a very good siblings to share out toys together, but they also can be enemies after a minute. Argh, kids are kids. Anyway, I am glad that Marcus likes to say, this is my Mei Mei, I take care of her, you don’t scold her, ok. I wonder how he treats his cousin brother next time.

6th wedding anniversary

Wednesday 3 March 2010 @ 10:51 am

Yes, I will go for a movie, ‘72 Tenants of Prosperity’ with hubby this afternoon. Today is our 6th wedding anniversary. Time flies fast, my kid is 4 years old. Since the movie started shown in cinema before Chinese New Year, it’s full for every show till now. I really can’t believe it, is this movie really good? What I know it’s a comedy show with many HK celebrities involved.

Hubby bought the tickets few days ago, but full house for night shows. No choice, we chose the time where hubby is still working. LOL!!! No worries, he will arrange his time to meet a cad drawings personal other time.  Hopefully we can have a dinner with kid if he’s free.

No gift for me from hubby as he bought me a diamond bangle as Valentine’s and anniversary gift. Wah, one stone shot two birds. LOL!!! Thanks, Dear.

Happy Eating

Tuesday 23 February 2010 @ 10:27 am

Kids are happy when come to Chinese New Year as they can receive ang paos besides enjoy eating snacks, cookies, mandarin oranges, soft drinks and etc. Argh, all unhealthy food, but once in a year, just let them as their parents also the same.  :P I am glad that we didn’t gain much weights.

Marcus and his cousin, Zhi Qi. They’re eating apples.

But I make sure my kid drinks lots of water and take more fruits. Don’t know why, the weather is super hot during the festive season.  Marcus takes shower few times every day, and sometimes I just let him naked at home. LOL!!!

We’re still in holiday mood, eating and eating. Tonight, we will attend a dinner with friends. I am sure hubby gains some weights these days. He promised me that he will back to his balance diet soon. I hope he keeps his promise. May be he should invest  in one of the best treadmills if he really have time for it.

Warm greeting

Friday 12 February 2010 @ 6:51 pm

Before I picked up Marcus today, I knew that I’ll receive something from him. Yes, I am right. There’re two cards for Valentine’s Day and Chinese New Year in his school bag.

This time I’m so sure that he did most of them like colouring, tracing words, and paste. When compared to last year, his teacher did almost everything. LOL!!!

A lovely teddy bear with loves…….

He told me he coloured all, even tracing the words, “Mummy Daddy”

A red lantern….

I am so glad when I heard him singing some CNY songs like ”Chai Seh Tau” in front of me. You will forget all the sadness, pressure when your kid doing something that you can’t imagine it, and you will definitely laugh from bottom of your heart.

I haven’t show hubby about the cards. He is real busy and attend his customers, friends’ annual dinners almost every night. Frankily, we haven’t do any CNY shopping, so I don’t hope that he will help me to buy a copper tile for the kitchen. I still not understand how the part time maid can break the kitchen wall tile. *shake head*

Here, I wish all of you HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR & HAPPY VALENTINE’S DAY!!!!

CNY cookies

Monday 8 February 2010 @ 6:20 pm

I am so excited waiting for the day comes, Chinese New Year. It’s just few days to go. I am in the CNY mood, so does my kid. We start to have CNY cookies, given from my mother and sister in law. We really can’t wait for it until the first day of CNY. We, really eat all we can these days.

I don’t need to go for CNY shopping except hunting for new clothes as hubby’s friends given us those CNY cookies, drinks, mandarin oranges, hampers and etc. LOL!!! We can save a lot there. :P

Hubby still yet to have any cookies. He is so busy attend dinner with customers, supplies, friends almost every night, starting from last week. I hope he won’t get drunk and vomit into the new Franke sink that we changed last month.

Marcus’s 4th birthday

Friday 29 January 2010 @ 6:21 pm

We didn’t throw him a birthday party this year, but a mini cake for him to bring to school. Since Marcus asked me if I am there with him for the cake cutting session, so I went to school during his recess time.

Just see where the kids looking at? They can’t wait for the cake or want the mini toy cars ?

They liked the cake I bought, but Marcus just ate a small piece only.

At night, we went out for dinner with my family members only. Yes, with another huge cake for Marcus too.

I asked him what cartoons he likes to have on the cake, so the Mickey & Minnie mouse. I thought he wants Ben10 or Transformers. Argh, from here you can see he is still like a baby. :P

A family photo.

We went home after the dinner as hubby had to meet up with few business plan consultants. At first, I wonder why can’t they meet day time but night time? Now I know, as they want to have beers.

Addicted to CNY songs

Monday 4 January 2010 @ 6:04 pm

I heard Marcus sang Christmas songs all day long few days ago, but now he’s addicted to Chinese New Year songs. Kids can change their mood very fast, huh? With the CNY approaching in few weeks time, his daddy bought him a new CNY vcd. Marcus likes to watch it so much. He even can sing after watched for few times, but pronounciation is not that good in Mandarin.

See, he switched on the tv once he’s back from school today, the first day of school. Gosh, this is really a bad habit. I let him watch for a while, so that I can go prepare him lunch. Don’t think that I have time to read some adipex reviews or newspaper unless he takes his nap.

This is the dics that hubby bought for him. I did watch it, not really a nice one. I think CNY songs with kids more joyful.

Welcome Year 2010

Merry Christmas

Friday 25 December 2009 @ 12:48 pm

We don’t have any plans to celebrate Christmas this year. Hubby suggested that I should cook roast turkey at home and enjoy red wine. Gosh, I am not good in cooking, I better go and buy instead. :P Anyway, we ended dine outside last night. LOL!!!

Most restaurants are having Christmas promotion meals. The price is not cheap and I wonder if they are any promotional items given as gift. Nah, no.

Well, my kid enjoyed the christmas party at school yesterday. He told me that there was a Santa Claus given sweets to them. Wow, this was a great surprise for kids. I just wonder who’s the Santa Claus, may be the principal. Too bad that I forgot to pass my camera to teacher.

So, how you celebrate your Christmas? Hope you enjoy your holiday……

Warm greetings from family

Saturday 28 November 2009 @ 4:32 pm

Even I did not celebrate my birthday with hubby and kid this year, but I feel warm to receive wishes from them. Marcus gave me a big hug and kiss after he sang birthday song to me. No cake and pressie from hubby but a valuable wish which money cannot buy.

After back from funeral ceremony, my family and hubby’s close relatives get together at our house. I was so surprised and shocked when they sang birthday song in front of me. It was the very first time they sang for me and I am very pleased.

My mother in law is getting better, no more crying, but tears all over her eyes when she sees photos or thinks about her hubby. Our house is back to normal and clean after the funeral service. An Indo maid will come again to clean up tomorrow. After discussion with my mother in law, we will sell textbooks, old magazines, table and chair, car, motorcycle which belong to my father in law except bed, wallet.

Marcus still looking for his Yeh Yeh sometimes even he knows that he can’t see him anymore. I’m thinking not to let Marcus joins his school holiday programme. Hope to spend more time with my mother in law at this moment. It’s great to know that my sister in law will stay with us for few weeks.

Anyway, time will wash away those sad moment. Life still goes on, and we should be happy every minute that we have now.

Mini birthday party at home

Wednesday 18 November 2009 @ 6:16 pm

It’s back dated post. (two weeks ago)

Since my sister is staying at my parents’ house these days, we decided to have a mini birthday party for her two years old daughter at home instead of going out for dinner. We had a great time especially kids.

My niece, Zhi Qi

I bought her a set of animals puzzle. I like to buy education toys, books as gifts for kids instead of clothes, toys. I can see that kids nowadays are so clever, may be too much formula milks. LOL!!! She can sort it out well after few times. I should buy harder puzzle for her next time.

When comes to cake cutting section, my sister decided to have a wish, just a play. She hopes that she will go enjoy a sun bath and stay a night at Hard Rock Hotel, Penang after give birth. Of course she hopes to stay at puerto plata hotel, but it’s very expensive. :P

Christmas party at school

Wednesday 11 November 2009 @ 5:55 pm

School holiday is around the corner.  Marcus will join his one month school holiday programme until Christmas. There is a Christmas party at school and I definitely will let him join for it. Wonder if parents are invited to the party too? Anyway, I still yet to receive any invitations from school. What I know is that children have to wear nice and cute costumes that day. What a fun for kids!

I guess there will be a present exchange section. Marcus is looking forward to it and he always hope that there’s a Santa Claus to give him present. LOL!!! As for me, I hope a Santa Claus may give me one of the most quality LCD tvs. Of course it just a dream, ok!

Normally I don’t receive any presents for Christmas. My wish is to go Singapore to celebrate Christmas this year. I guess this is the most valuable gift for me. I hope it will come true. :P

Decorate for Christmas

Tuesday 3 November 2009 @ 5:48 pm

Christmas is just around the corner and some might start to decorate their house. Well, even though I am not a Christian, but I like to celebrate this special day. I am looking forward if anyone invites me to join Christmas party. LOL!!!

Yesterday after picked up my kid, I accompanied my friend who just moved into new house, to a home decor shop. The stuffs are so nice and simple. The shop starts selling christmas accessories. Guess what, I can’t stop myself to buy some. I like their mini artificial christmas trees with lights. We ended to pay for few hundreds. :P

I’m really in Christmas mood now. I miss roasted turkey!
