Warm greetings from family

Saturday 28 November 2009 @ 4:32 pm

Even I did not celebrate my birthday with hubby and kid this year, but I feel warm to receive wishes from them. Marcus gave me a big hug and kiss after he sang birthday song to me. No cake and pressie from hubby but a valuable wish which money cannot buy.

After back from funeral ceremony, my family and hubby’s close relatives get together at our house. I was so surprised and shocked when they sang birthday song in front of me. It was the very first time they sang for me and I am very pleased.

My mother in law is getting better, no more crying, but tears all over her eyes when she sees photos or thinks about her hubby. Our house is back to normal and clean after the funeral service. An Indo maid will come again to clean up tomorrow. After discussion with my mother in law, we will sell textbooks, old magazines, table and chair, car, motorcycle which belong to my father in law except bed, wallet.

Marcus still looking for his Yeh Yeh sometimes even he knows that he can’t see him anymore. I’m thinking not to let Marcus joins his school holiday programme. Hope to spend more time with my mother in law at this moment. It’s great to know that my sister in law will stay with us for few weeks.

Anyway, time will wash away those sad moment. Life still goes on, and we should be happy every minute that we have now.

Mini birthday party at home

Wednesday 18 November 2009 @ 6:16 pm

It’s back dated post. (two weeks ago)

Since my sister is staying at my parents’ house these days, we decided to have a mini birthday party for her two years old daughter at home instead of going out for dinner. We had a great time especially kids.

My niece, Zhi Qi

I bought her a set of animals puzzle. I like to buy education toys, books as gifts for kids instead of clothes, toys. I can see that kids nowadays are so clever, may be too much formula milks. LOL!!! She can sort it out well after few times. I should buy harder puzzle for her next time.

When comes to cake cutting section, my sister decided to have a wish, just a play. She hopes that she will go enjoy a sun bath and stay a night at Hard Rock Hotel, Penang after give birth. Of course she hopes to stay at puerto plata hotel, but it’s very expensive. :P

Christmas party at school

Wednesday 11 November 2009 @ 5:55 pm

School holiday is around the corner.  Marcus will join his one month school holiday programme until Christmas. There is a Christmas party at school and I definitely will let him join for it. Wonder if parents are invited to the party too? Anyway, I still yet to receive any invitations from school. What I know is that children have to wear nice and cute costumes that day. What a fun for kids!

I guess there will be a present exchange section. Marcus is looking forward to it and he always hope that there’s a Santa Claus to give him present. LOL!!! As for me, I hope a Santa Claus may give me one of the most quality LCD tvs. Of course it just a dream, ok!

Normally I don’t receive any presents for Christmas. My wish is to go Singapore to celebrate Christmas this year. I guess this is the most valuable gift for me. I hope it will come true. :P

December holidays

Tuesday 10 November 2009 @ 5:58 pm

Hubby and I supposed to have a night stay at Hard Rock hotel this month as to celebrate my birthday. Too bad all rooms are fully booked. So, we decided to change our date. Since my friends want to join us, so I have to confirm all before I book for rooms. Again, all fully booked!

Gosh, we have to choose another date again. Delay until next month. Well, I will book for it once I get confirmation from my friends. Can’t wait to have good food in Penang again. Not to worry, I am not into losing weights, but hubby. I am sure he won’t miss all those delicious hawker food. Argh, thinking if fat burner products will help him or not.

It’s because of coming school holidays, most parents will bring their kids for vacation and staying at Hard Rock Hotel is definitely the right choice even though the rate is super expensive.

I am sure Marcus is very excited about it as he likes swimming, beaches and sand. Kids will go crazy when they play together. LOL!!!

New working environment

Tuesday 10 November 2009 @ 5:46 pm

Hubby’s new office will be finished soon and that’s mean I need to go there and help.  I actually feel excited too as I like the new working environment. Hubby told me that he needs two plasma mounts to be placed besides the entrance, so that people can see some travel packages when they pass by.

I like traveling, so I am sure I like this job much even though I will be incharge for account. LOL!!! I might working as part time as I worry about my kid. He must be looking for me if I’m not around with him at home. So, I brain wash him every day that mummy needs to go work and earn money, so that mummy can buy toys for him one day. LOL!!!

“Masak-masak” time

Saturday 7 November 2009 @ 9:36 am

My best “chi mui” who just moved into her house asked me if I have time to teach her “masak-masak” yesterday. O..o, I am not good in cooking, but I can say I know how to cook some simple dishes too. :P I, of course not a cooking “sifu”, but I try my best to guide my friend.

We’re busy preparing and cooking, while the kids were watching cartoon programmes in living room. We ended our cooking within an hour, but it was already 3pm when we started our late lunch. We had steam eggs, fried green leaf vege, fried mix vege. Oh, forgot to tell you that we went for vegetarian this time as my friend didn’t prepare any meats, fish or chicken. :P

After we fill up our tummy, I helped to wash the plates, while my friend cleaning up the rubbish, mop the floor and even wipe those ceramic tiles on the wall. Huh, lot of things to do after a good meal.  Anyway, it was fun to cook together and we will go for another cooking session soon. LOL!!!

Daddy is away again

Wednesday 4 November 2009 @ 5:26 pm

Hubby is going to Hong Kong with his friend tomorrow. No, they’re not go for holiday but work. If not, sure I follow him. This trip to HK is totally free including air tickets, meals, accomodations by one of the HK travel agency company as the boss wants to see them.

I’ll be home with Marcus, but I mostly will go to my parents’ house. LOL!!! Since daddy will not at home for few days, I told my kid to be good with me and don’t let me have high blood pressure. Marcus quite scares of his daddy, but once they play together, they will forgot their name. :P

So, I will get even busy when hubby is not at home as I’ll become my kid’s playmate at night. I don’t have much time to blog hop, don’t say searching for accredited online degrees programmes. Of course I’m not going further studies, just help my ex-classmate to do some researches. See, I’m so good, but will delay until hubby comes back. :P

Besides that, my best friend who just moved into new house, asked me when I’m free to “play masak-masak’ with her. O..o…guide her how to cook some simple dishes actually. I am not good in cooking, but become “sifu” now. LOL!!! Ok, sure I will help her as she wants to learn and cook for her hubby once she ‘graduated’. Hehehe….

Decorate for Christmas

Tuesday 3 November 2009 @ 5:48 pm

Christmas is just around the corner and some might start to decorate their house. Well, even though I am not a Christian, but I like to celebrate this special day. I am looking forward if anyone invites me to join Christmas party. LOL!!!

Yesterday after picked up my kid, I accompanied my friend who just moved into new house, to a home decor shop. The stuffs are so nice and simple. The shop starts selling christmas accessories. Guess what, I can’t stop myself to buy some. I like their mini artificial christmas trees with lights. We ended to pay for few hundreds. :P

I’m really in Christmas mood now. I miss roasted turkey!

School holidays is coming soon

Tuesday 3 November 2009 @ 10:43 am

School holidays is two weeks away.  I decided to let Marcus to join for his school holiday programme.  Some might think why not let the little child rest and enjoy during this long school holiday at home. For me, it’s good to send him to school to learn and play instead of just sitting in front of TV every hour. Afterall, it’s just half day.

Where to bring Marcus go during this coming school holidays? Hubby is thinking that we could stay a night at Hard Rock Hotel, Penang. No overseas trip until next year as we need to save more for our coming new house. So no stay at any hotels in orlando at the meantime, think have to wait hubby to retire first. LOL!!!

Actually hubby wants to celebrate my birthday, which is in November, so he planned to go Penang. Somemore his kid likes beach. My friends also decided to join us too when they knew it. It’s more fun to go in a group too, especially with kids.
