Day care or at home?

Friday 30 October 2009 @ 5:41 pm

I don’t think stay at home mummies are free beside taking care their kids. I do enjoy my life as SAHM for more than a year. Hubby’s new office is under renovation now and it’s going to be ready for business probably by end of next month. I might back to work soon at hubby’s office. I will in charge of accounts, so I will go for a short training about how to use the program. No, we are not using any cad drawings software as we’re in travel field.

I still thinking whether I should place my kid in day care or at home after school. My mother in law can take care of Marcus if hubby talks to her, but I feel she wants freedom more. Most probably I will place my kid in day care next year once he’s settle down in his new kindergarten.

At the meantime, I requested hubby that I will work as part time. I like flexible work and really can’t work as an office lady.  :P

Will you do this in front of your kid?

Wednesday 28 October 2009 @ 5:09 pm

I am sure all parents and older people will teach their children and grandchildren not to throw rubbish everywhere but in dustbin or waster paper basket. I know many people like to throw rubbish out from their cars. My hubby was one of them before, but after I scolded him ‘kuat-kuat’, he didn’t do it again. :P

I went to a insurance company to get an auto insurance quote the other days. There were two ladies and a kid who’s eating ice cream walked in front of me. Before they walked into the office, the kid gave the ice cream stick to her po po. I was really shocked when her po po just simply throw the ice cream stick in the drain while the kid’s mummy is standing at the entrance waiting for them. They felt nothing at all. LOL!!!

The kid is in her age of 5 to 6. I wonder why her mummy not advise or talk it out. You know the kid saw how’s her po po threw the rubbish in the drain. Kids learn very fast. How come they don’t show a good example in front of a kid? I am sure there are many dustbins or waste paper baskets in the office.

Child abuse?

Monday 26 October 2009 @ 6:42 pm

Marcus is getting very close to his grandparents especially his kao fu even though they just meet up during weekend. My kid likes them much, you know why? Because they always buy him toys and sweets. Frankily, I really not like it. They’re really spoilt him. Every time when we go to my parents’ house, my kid sure go and open the fridge, look and find if he can get anything. Well, I think most kids are like him too. :P

I definitely not like my kid eat too many sweets, even one also cannot if possible, not too hard. Too straight? He has tooth decay now and I brought him to visit dentist weeks ago. The dentist told me can’t do anything, just brush his teeth day and night every day, wait the teeth change when he grows older.

Most of the time I show my NOT HAPPY face when my parents or others offer my kid those unhealthy snacks and tit bits. My father always say that I must let him try and eat everything. Yes, I do agree and let him eat whatever he likes except unhealthy food like fried food. Not that I won’t allow him to eat, but hopefully not to eat. LOL!!! Just see there are so many cases of diseases increasing day by day. How about for the next ten, twenty years? What will happen to our next generations?

My father always complain that I won’t let his grandson eat this and that, while his other friends’ grandchildren eat a lot of food, those unhealthy food likes fried nuggests, fried sausages, spicy curry, sweets and etc. He thinks I abuse his grandson and not let him eat. LOL!!!

I know they love him, but in other way spoiling him. I wonder if my kid will ask his grandfather to buy him those expensive real luxury car and car accessories when he grows up. :P

Wedding invitations

Sunday 18 October 2009 @ 9:42 pm

Yes, October (August in chinese calendar) is the best month for wedding this year and we had received few wedding invitation cards. Although Marcus and I like to attend wedding ceremony and dinner, but seems that hubby is scare with it as he is the one who needs to pay for ang paos. LOL!!!

We attended two wedding dinners, our relative and cousin. It is a must to attend the weddings even though hubby got some free Myrtle beach golf packages from his supplier. Anyway, hubby had to give it to his friends as he does not know how to play golf. :P

Marcus is very excited and happy when we attend any wedding dinners. The ever great time is when he’s enjoy yam seng section.

Love you, love me

Monday 12 October 2009 @ 5:28 pm

Every night as usual, I read books to Marcus before we go to bed together. I asked him some silly questions where I think most parents will do so like me.

Me : Boy, you love po po or ma ma?
Marcus : Mummy.

Me : Huh…..I ask you which one you love the most, po po or ma ma?
Marcus : Daddy.

Me : You love mummy or daddy?
Marcus : Po po.

Me : *fainted*
Marcus : (after awhile), I love mummy.

Me : Just mummy?
Marcus : Mummy, daddy, po po, ma ma, gong gong, yeh yeh, yee yee, kao fu, mei mei, Noel, suk suk. (listed out all family and relative members)

Me : I love Marcus very much…muakkssss

After got the answer I want, then we go to sleep. LOL!!! I thought to update my blogs after he’s sleep, but my laptop started to give me some problems, may be I should update to Custom flash drive soon. That’s why I didn’t update this blog these few days.

Day dream

Tuesday 6 October 2009 @ 5:34 pm

I just login to my facebook and got to know that my friend was back from her holiday trip to Singapore and Australia. After seeing the photos, I started to have my day dream, wonder when can I go to these two places again? I remembered that hubby and I brought Marcus to Singapore and celebrated Christmas two years ago. If I were to go there again, I might visit to Vivo City, but not Circuit City.

May be I should start to plan another family trip to Singapore end of this year. Hopefully celebrate Christmas there again. Anyway, I need to discuss with my hubby as he is super busy with his work. Ok, no more day dream now. I need to update some posts before go out for dinner to celebrate my father’s birthday. Actually yesterday was his birthday, but he celebrated with his friends instead of us. :P
