A scary joke

Tuesday 29 September 2009 @ 5:30 pm

Last Sunday evening, we had dinner at my parents’ house, of course Marcus was the one who finished his meal first. Then, I let him played around, running here and there while I continued my dinner. Suddenly, he came, hold my mother’s hands and pointed to the dry kitchen, saying that Didi is coming. No, no other kids except Marcus that time.

I told my mother that he’s joked with us only. He used to tell me that there’s a kor kor up the ceiling fan in my bedroom. Feeling scare now? I am not scare at all as Marcus’s smiling while he talked to us. I know him well, he’s joked with us. But three years old kid can really make such a scary joke?

Then, we continued having our dinner. Again, he hold my mother’s hands and told us Nah, didi comes already while pointed to the wet kitchen. My mother and brother started to believe what he said. Gosh, I told them not to believe him, he always likes to joke.

My mother called me just now and let me know that she’s scare to go home yesterday evening. My father and brother still working and came home late. Once she stepped into the house, she switched on all lights. She felt little cold when she passed by the kitchen. OMG, my mother really believed what her grandson said. Anyway, she is a timid woman.

See, my kid can make a joke where other people think it’s truth. :P

Nap time

Monday 28 September 2009 @ 6:11 pm

Marcus doesn’t like to take nap these days. He doesn’t feel sleepy at all throughout the day, so energetic. He used to take two to three hours nap every day, but less than one hour nowadays. Argh, what happened? If there is someone play with him, he even refuses to have a rest too. Thus, midnight screaming happen. :P

I thought he goes to bed earlier if he doesn’t take his nap, but he is not.  I still think kids should sleep and rest for more hours. It’s good for their physical and mind development too. I can’t blog hop more often if Marcus is awake. And I don’t have time to watch this movie - Tacoma car accident lawyer which my friend borrowed me last week. I think I will return to her tomorrow, afterall I can feel it’s a boring movie. LOL!!!

Spam mails

Friday 25 September 2009 @ 3:13 pm

I receive many spam mails in my dashboard these days. All mails are regarding submit directory which I can’t understand well. I just delete them all. I think I want to ask my web hoster if he can help me to stop those spam mails coming into my website.

I do not have much time just sit in front of my laptop and delete those unwanted mails or comments. I have to update my blogs. I wonder if I have time to update my blogs later as I might go work at my hubby’s new office soon. I can imagine I have lot of things to learn and do. Argh, I want flexible time and I don’t like working like those office ladies, from morning till evening.

If hubby wants me to help him, he needs to think twice as I will go home early. Somemore I will go out to take my kid back home after his school. :P Gosh, I need to manage my time again.

Lovely siblings

Thursday 24 September 2009 @ 11:56 am

I like this photo much even it’s a little blur. I was really heart attack when I saw this scene. It happened at my mother’s house last week. They actually don’t know this kind of play thing, blame to their po po who took out the bar stool for them to play. They kept asking their po po to push them round and round.

I was quite worry of them, I hope I don’t need Pronexin. They’re so crazy of the game and refused to get down. Po po was very tired after pushed them for few rounds. You know, they’re not babies anymore, but toddlers. You might think I will take turn for it. No, I was not.

So, they have no choice but to get down. Guess what, you can see them so loving now, but fighting for a toy after a second. Argh!!! Kids are kids, afterall they’re lovely siblings.

When it comes to holidays…

Wednesday 23 September 2009 @ 6:50 pm

I am quite tension whenever my kid’s school teacher passes me a school holidays notice. You know why? Not that I’m tension to take care of him, but to make the house super messy if we’re at home. I can’t imagine how the house will look like if you have more than a kid, unless you have maid to help you. LOL!!!

Today is still holiday for Marcus. Just see what he did and made me want to take him out of the house. I brought him to have lunch with my mother. I really can’t stay in the house just to help him tidy up the mess even though he is my helper too.

Simply put back the books and puzzles…..

Chair fell down and he always holding and simply put his bags here and there….

Argh, luckily I manage to stop him…

Toys are everywhere…..

Didn’t close back the top after played….

Are your kids also the same? Luckily I don’t place outdoor furniture in car porch, or else one more place for me to clean up. That’s why I like my kid to join school holidays programme, at least he has few hours less to mess up the house every day. LOL!!!

Couple time no more

Thursday 17 September 2009 @ 5:48 pm

I can’t remember when was the last time I went out with hubby, not included go for movie. Normally we go for late night movie after Marcus sleeps. When Marcus was a little baby, hubby still can bring me out to have dinner, shopping a while, enjoy ourself in a cafe chit chatting as my mother in law took care of him. Now, he will be four years old in couple of months, don’t let me go out unless we have something special like candies for him, but after he takes it, he will yell and look for me. Argh!!! End up I rather stay at home.

Sometimes hubby and I need to attend some functions where kids are not suitable, so I bring Marcus to my parents’ house, hoping that we can have few hours free time. Most of the time I receive my mother’s call that Marcus keeps looking for me. End up go home early. LOL!!!

Even though I hope to have honeymoon vacation, just hubby and I, but I’m sure will miss my son very much, like when I went to Gold Coast with hubby last year. I told myself that I won’t leave my son at home whenever I go for vacation, unless special case. :P

At this moment, no honeymoon vacation with hubby, perhaps wait until Marcus is grown up. May be I will buy a set of outdoor furniture to place at car porch to enjoy a cup of coffee or a glass of red wine with hubby when we move to our new house thought by the time no one will take care of  Marcus if we want to have a late night movie unless I send him to my mother or in law.

A trip to Penang

Wednesday 16 September 2009 @ 5:00 pm

The weekend took us to Penang again, a day trip for shopping and hunting good food.  It’s our first outing family trip after ‘quaratine’ at home for many weeks just because kiasi of H1N1. LOL!!!  Too bad that I totally forgot to take the most important thing, camera. Argh! May be I’m too excited for the trip. :P

Marcus always asks me to buy him music things. He got to know about the name of some musical instructments just because of the book below. I hardly get them here even at toy wholesaler shop.

We went to Lorong Selamat to have our lunch. We had not been there for quite some time. Miss the hawker food very much all the time. Yes, we left there with full tummy. All food are absolutely delicious.  And then, of course, we went to Gurney Plaza for a bit of shopping. Finally, I found a set of musical instructment at Toys’R'us for Marcus.

Lovely toys, drum, maracas, trumpet, cymbals, tambourine

We left Gurney Plaza near 5pm and we proceed to Queensbay Mall for another great shopping. On the way there, Marcus felt asleep in the car. When we reached the mall, my parents asked better to let him sleep for a while. Hubby and I didn’t bother and carried him out from the car. He woke up and we’re glad that he didn’t play tantrums at all as I promised him to bring him for kiddie rides.

It’s time for dinner. I planned to go Bukit Tambun but my parents wanted to dine in the mall, so we went to Dragon-I. They wanted their grandson to have a good sleep in the car after dinner. They didn’t want us to wake him up again. LOL!!! Hubby promised to bring me to Bukit Tambun coming days. I wonder if he needs some fat burners to standby.

Wordless Sunday

Tuesday 8 September 2009 @ 5:18 pm

Marcus is so excited when come to the weekends as he can go to his po po’s house and play with his cousin. I am also very happy too as I can be a queen there and my mother sure will take care of them. LOL!!!

Last Sunday, we had lot of fun even we were just stayed in the house for whole day.  I should not talk more in this post. Let the photos do the ‘talking’. :P

Playing water and wasting water too…..

Time to get up, Marcus says if he can play for another 10 minutes.

Then, the little one, Zhi Qi didn’t want to get up.

After dinner, my brother decided to wash his car. Marcus was very excited and wanted to help out.

He’s so serious doing his job and asked his kao fu pays for him…..

Then, Zhi Qi came to help too with old cloth in hand…. LOL!!!

Bye bye Ba-Be

Saturday 5 September 2009 @ 10:33 pm

My sister bought a new Mr. Bear for Marcus recently from Penang. Marcus likes it very much and sleep together with it every day and night. Too bad this Mr. Bear spoilt by his owner days ago. You can see the white small beans spread out on the table.

He knows that his Ba-Be spoilt. Oh, my sister named it as Ba-Be as her daughter also likes it much, without it, she can’t sleep. I just keep it aside and worry if Marcus will look for it for days. I should throw it in the dustbin as my father also cannot “save” it. LOL!!!

I will buy another one for him if we go to Penang again one day. My sister told me the place but hubby seemed not so sure. Well, a new gps will help us for sure.

Work hard

Wednesday 2 September 2009 @ 5:51 pm

My boy turned into the stage that keep asking me WHY questions. He asked me few times why his daddy always go out. I told him that daddy needs to go out to work and earn money for him. He seemed understand but still keep asking me again and again when he can’t see his daddy at home. :P

Daddy came home for lunch just now. When daddy get ready to go out, Marcus asked  again the same question.

Marcus : Daddy, why you always go out? Don’t go out lah….
Daddy : Boy, daddy has lot of things to do, needs to go out to work, work hard and earn money for you.

After an hour, I asked him to sleep.

Me : Come, time to take your nap.
Marcus : (Go and take all his puzzles out…..and a glass tile catalogue from my desk).
Me : Why you play puzzles now?
Marcus : Mummy, you see, I have a lot of things to do also, I need to work hard. Mummy you wait for me, ok?
Me : Ohhhh….ok! (Don’t know laugh or angry) :P
